WHITEHALL AREA
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
ABOUT
The Whitehall Area Chamber of Commerce has been actively involved in the community since the early 1950's for the purpose of enhancing the community and promoting the development of existing and new businesses. The business district has had many changes since then with the most recent being replacing of the street lights, adding brick work to the sidewalks, and replacing Christmas decorations, all of which the Chamber has been involved with.
The Chamber was instrumental in starting the Beef and Dairy Days celebration which it now co-sponsors with the Whitehall Lions, the American Legion, and the Whitehall Volunteer Fire Department.
The Chamber places signs and flower beds at the entrance of the city to welcome travelers. They also sponsor the May city-wide garage sale, flowers in the downtown planters, benches located on Main Street, the Festival of the Trees promotion, and a Chamber of Commerce Technical College Scholarship.
