Job Opening:
Energy Services Intake Worker We are hiring an Energy Services Intake Worker to provide initial contact and guidance to appropriate services for persons seeking benefits offered at Western Dairyland. This is a full time, Monday through Friday position. The starting wage is $17.75 per hour based on experience. Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Primary duties include:
Performs initial screening for individuals seeking assistance under public assistance programs
Provides information on eligibility criteria required for offered programs
Obtains personal and financial data related to eligibility criteria
Reviews and makes preliminary determination if individual meets the eligibility criteria
Determines eligibility for Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP)
Conducts interviews with individuals requesting assistance with energy and interactive home heating needs
Makes appropriate referrals for crisis assistance and weatherization programs
Attends initial and on-going training
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Associates degree in Business Administration or related program with 2 years’ experience working with low-income populations.
Licenses, Certifications, Authorizations Required
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must have an insured vehicle
Must meet Western Dairyland’s insurability requirements
